Participation Terms and General Conditions for Online German Courses

Technical Requirements

• Classes are held via Zoom. A stable internet connection, microphone, and camera are required.
• The camera should remain on for the entire lesson.
• Participation is only possible on a computer or tablet (not on a mobile phone).

We recommend bookmarking the Zoom link in the browser so that your child can log in independently.

Workspace and Materials
• The child should have a dedicated workspace — ideally a desk (not a sofa or armchair).
• Materials needed for every lesson: two pens, a pencil, colored pencils, and a lined notebook or notepad.
• Course materials (including reading books) are not included in the course fee. Parents are responsible for purchasing them. The teacher will provide a list at the beginning of the course.

Attendance and Punctuality
• Please ensure that your child joins the class on time.
• If your child cannot attend a lesson, please notify the teacher in advance.
• Missed classes cannot be rescheduled or refunded.

Homework and Communication
• Homework is shared by the teacher via a dedicated WhatsApp group.
• Questions about assignments can be asked in the group chat if they may benefit other parents as well.
• The chat is reserved exclusively for course-related communication — we kindly ask not to use it for greetings, images, or unrelated messages.
• Completed homework exercises do not need to be submitted to the teacher. They will either be reviewed during class or accompanied by a solution key.
• Written assignments (e.g., essays) should be sent directly to the teacher via WhatsApp — not to the group.

Additional Information
• Enrollment requires a course contract, which automatically ends at the conclusion of the school year.
• The contract can be cancelled with two months’ written notice before the end of any calendar month. Please note: verbal or written notice to the teacher does not count as an official cancellation.
• Enrolment in the next level (next grade) requires a separate registration.

• Online lessons are not recorded.

• All personal data is handled confidentially.
